太古の昔、初めてヒトの目に映った太陽 ,光と熱をもたらすものが地平線からのぼる。新しい朝が訪れた…

長い時の流れの中で、1日を図る太陽時計を発明したり、春分、夏至、秋分、冬至と、季節の法則を編み出したり、 いかなる時代も太陽を見つめ、力をもらう私達。

最も日常である日の出と日の入りを人類の尊厳への　再生への祈りとして書き下ろされた一編の詩に 心うたれ、ご紹介したいと思います。

米国の詩人、作家、そしてキング牧師と共に人種差別に立ち向かった公民権運動家であるMaya Angelou（マヤ・アンジェロウ）より
