青い地球で藍が溢れた江戸の色
地球の無数にある青。その色が溢れた一つの時代、一つの町から。
そこで再生成された色が、全世界に戻る時、呼び名は「ジャパンブルー」となった。
エジプトのツタンカーメンの古墳にも見られる色。シルクロードを往来し、インド、中国、日本、ヨーロッパにも親しまれるようになった「藍色」
かつては高貴な色とされていた藍色は、江戸時代の日本ですべての人の色となり、
ジャパンブルーの波が生まれる。
経済的に自立した江戸の町の人の「粋（いき）」な色としても、
汚れが目立たない、実用的な作業着としても
洗えば洗うほど色が冴えるブルーが人々の生き様を引き立てる。
江戸の街に、戦争のなかった200年以上の時の中で生まれたジャパンブルー。
地球の色であり、その想いを載せて世界へと戻った。
生命の青を、育み続ける地球でありますように！
