輝く冬の星空

冬の晴れた夜空を見上げると

星の光の輝きをより身近に感じ、時には星の命さえ感じる程の絶景に会える時期。空気中の水蒸気が少ないおかげで、より輝きを増す空の星たち。唱歌『冬の星座』でも歌われている、冴え渡った空から降り注ぐ、不思議な光をテーマに。

星の並びからイメージを見る風習は古代エジプトですでに記録されており、メソポタミアで星座となったと言われています。

有名な冬の大三角。一等星を3つを結んで大きな三角形が心の中で華やかに輝く魔法。オリオン座のベテルギウス、おおいぬ座のシリウス、こいぬ座のプロキオンを想像の中で結んで創っていきます。

6つ星を繋げて、「冬のダイヤモンド」というのもあります。最も明るいおおいぬ座のシリウスから時計回りに、プロキオン、ポルックス、カペラ、アルデバラン、リゲル、これら1等星を想像で結ぶと、空に浮かぶ大きなダイアモンドとなりま

す。

このように、星と星を結んでは形を思い浮かべるのは、心の余裕から生まれる創造、ロマン、研究等々、様々なことを可能とする人生の喜びの原点ではないかと思います。

Shining winter starry sky

The clear winter nights bring star lights closer to our eyes. And in magnificent scenery, we may experience as the sky may be holding us and planet earth in a cradle.

Testaments of celestial studies, images, and stories, are found in times of Egypt to the present day.

Most famous is the winter Triangle, With imaginary drawn vertices between Sirius, Betelgeuse, and Procyon, and the Winter’s Diamond is gigantic hexangular with Sirius, Procyon, Pollux, Capella, Aldebaran, and Rigel.
